I am one of those people :) I started to drink water constantly over 15 years ago to cleanse my body. Also, because I had an addition to ice tea and soda. Everywhere I go my water bottle goes! But, I have learned how plastic that is not recycled takes awhile to decompose as well the impact that all of this plastic has had on our environment. The best I could do was just start buying it by the gallon and re-filling my water bottle. I feel at least I am not dumping all those bottles into the trash as I can go through 48 bottles of water in a 2 week period. This is a great question!
I have lived in three different places: South Jersey,Lancaster County, and Southern Illinois. I have always liked the taste of the tap water where I have lived. The bottled water craze started when I lived in Illinois. I knew many people who got water delivered in the 5 gallon jugs. The delivered water had such a high sulfer content, I found it undrinkable. I am always carrying around bottles of water, but they are the same bottles. I refill at the water fountain.
